What to look for in an Indiana Wedding Videography service

Recently, my cousin got engaged, and I will be the best man on his wedding day. Spontaneously, the subject of who should be hired as his wedding videographer popped up. His question was simple: what are qualities to look forward to in a wedding videographer? After which we started our search for the best Indiana wedding videography services and now, I would like to shed some light on our overall experience:

Most important thing: Experience

When you are looking out for a wedding videographer, find someone who is constantly busy in shooting weddings. On an average, a busy cinematographer will shoot about 20-35 weddings in a year.

Firstly, make sure that your Indianapolis wedding videographer has done more than thirty successful weddings. If he/she has completed more than fifty weddings, then he/she could be easily considered as an experienced videographer.

Why is experience so important? Because, in DSLR video shooting, focusing is very important as well as difficult, and only practice can make you a master in it.

Single v/s multiple videographers

Ask the videographer for the video’s he or she has recorded alone in a wedding and then for the work they have done with multiple videographers.

Depending on your budget you might want to go with a single wedding videographer rather than hiring multiple videographers.

Lights

Ask questions about lighting. Ask about the lights that will be used at the ceremony. Churches normally have good lighting, However if the church is not well illuminated, Discuss with the wedding videographer how they will deal with low light situations.

Sound

Image quality is only the half of your wedding film; sound is the other half of the video which also plays a very important role.

A wedding film with bad sound can surely damage the actual quality of the whole video.
